Realizing it was too hot, we had no water, and were illegally trespassing before 2pm, we decided to wait to view the lava flow closely for another occasion. Down the road in the current incarnation of Kalapana village, near a Hawaiian sovereinty flag, I purchased the tastiest papayas I've ever been lucky enough to savor.

On a recent trip to visit my dear friend Robin and her partner Max in Portland, OR, we discovered an unknown penchant for taking FOOT PHOTOS during travels. "Hey Robin, what about starting a blog of foot photos?" And hence "Your foot here" is born.
